This is a place I walk through often.
The strange effect is an inversion in Photoshop. People who walk through this area of light and shadow appear to ripple, and those who sit on benches in the striped shade look as though they are stopped in time. There is endless variety to the geometry created by the intersection of these stripes and the contours of the building and the time of day. Also, the season of the year affects the angle of the sun. Therefore, on almost any day there can be a unique experience.
